The initial serving was dessert…. Cookies, tea cakes, sponge cake, a raspberry cream filled chocolate cup. The middle serving was moist and slightly sweet scones with fresh creamed butter and jam. The last serving was of traditional tea sandwiches. Egg salad on a croissant, cucumber sandwich, chicken salad on marble rye, smoked salmon and cream cheese… tasty scones and Jersey cream.
